My partner and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at this family-run accommodation in Epanochori. Maria, the owner, took excellent care of us and made us feel right at home. The value for our stay was terrific, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with great coffee, orange juice, toast, and a choice of cheese or jam. The location was perfect, being close to the entrance of the Agia Irini gorge and within driving distance of Sougia and Palaochora. The highlight for us was the restaurant on-site, where we had excellent meals each evening. We especially loved the homemade village sausages - absolutely delicious!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Authentic Cretan stay with a tour desk, laundry facilities, and luggage storage. Loved the traditional restaurant and sun terrace. Free WiFi and private parking. Cons: Oh, I guess I just didn't find anything to complain about. How disappointing.

As a tourist, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this accommodation. The location was perfect for my hiking plans, with easy access to the Agia Irini and Fygou gorges. Additionally, the daily bus service to the beach town of Sougia was a convenient amenity. The hospitality of the owner, Maria, was outstanding, and she took great care of me during my stay. The breakfast provided was delicious, with great coffee, orange juice, toast, and cheese/jam. I also appreciated the proximity to the entrance of the Agia Irini gorge and the ability to explore the nearby towns of Sougia and Palaochora. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent meals served at the on-site restaurant, especially the mouthwatering homemade village sausages.
During my stay, there was a minor inconvenience as the lights in the village went out in the morning. However, this was a small issue in comparison to the overall positive experience at the accommodation.

The studio was spacious and clean with beautiful views of the mountains and river. the owners were incredibly friendly and treated us like family, ensuring our satisfaction throughout our stay. the freshly made breakfast was delicious and they even prepared something for us to take away. the nearby taverna offered authentic Cretan food that we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the opportunity to try the locally made "sfakiani pitta" with honey.
The room did not have air conditioning, which was a problem during the early evening when temperatures were high. the temperature did drop later in the night, making it comfortable to sleep.

We had an exceptional stay at a charming hotel in a beautiful location. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. The room was spacious with a large bathroom, and the Cretian breakfast was delicious. Despite being along the road, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful stay. The best part was being able to go hiking in the mountains right from the hotel. we highly recommend this hotel for its hospitality, value, and convenient location for outdoor activities.

This place was mind-blowing! The room may have been basic, but it was super comfortable. The breakfast was simple but fresh, and the hostess prepared two jaw-dropping evening meals that catered to my food intolerances. The location was absolutely stunning, perfect for hiking the nearby gorge. The owners treated us like family and the studio was spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The on-site restaurant offered delicious homemade Cretan dishes that I will never forget. this place exceeded all expectations and made our stay a true pleasure. We will definitely be returning next year! PS: Don't miss out on the locally made "sfakiani pitta" with honey.
